Data Deletion Request
We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from BookMore.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove the following data:

Account Information
Your email, password, and profile settings

Business Profile
Business name, location, packages, and pricing information
- ✓
Instagram Connection
Access tokens and Instagram account linkage
- ✓
Lead Data
All leads, including names, contact info, wedding details, and qualification scores
- ✓
Conversation History
All messages exchanged through the BookMore platform
- ✓
Bot Configuration
All bot settings, custom rules, templates, and behavior preferences
Deletion Timeline
Upon receiving your deletion request, we will:
- • Within 48 hours: Acknowledge your request and verify your identity
- • Within 7 days: Disable your account and stop all bot activity
- • Within 30 days: Permanently delete all your data from our systems
- • After deletion: Send confirmation email that deletion is complete
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: Email Request (Recommended)
Send an email to privacy@bookmore.in with:
- • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- • The email address associated with your BookMore account
- • Your Instagram handle (if connected)
- • Confirmation that you want all data deleted
Option 2: In-App Deletion
If you have access to your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will initiate the deletion process immediately.
Option 3: Facebook/Instagram Settings
You can also revoke BookMore's access through your Facebook or Instagram settings:
- • Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- • Find BookMore and click "Remove"
- • This will revoke our access to your Instagram account
Note: Revoking access stops the bot but doesn't delete your data from our servers. Please also submit a deletion request to fully remove your data.
Data Retention Exceptions
In certain cases, we may retain limited data as required by law:
- • Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (up to 7 years)
- • Data required for ongoing legal proceedings
- • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (cannot be linked back to you)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Meta Platform Compliance
As a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) integrated application, we comply with Meta's Platform Terms regarding data deletion:
- •We process data deletion callbacks from Meta when you remove our app from your Facebook/Instagram settings
- •We delete all Instagram-related data within 30 days of receiving a deletion request
- •We provide this data deletion instruction URL to Meta as required by their platform policies
